今天看了一个朋友的纪录片。这个朋友从2021年开始了自己关于骑车的youtube channel，坚持周更到现在，然后奇妙的事情发生了：
- 频道已经有了4000多个订阅者。
- 他建立起了一个当地骑行者的community，甚至还有每年大家一起骑行的峰会。
- 他加入了全美国最大的骑行者协会的董事会。
- 他在市政府委员会面前宣讲了市政建设和骑行安全。
- 他认识了同是骑行爱好者的纪录片导演。

然后今天，关于他的记录片首映了，里面有他生活的点点滴滴：摆弄自行车，与从小不怎么说话的父亲一起从西雅图骑行到温哥华，一点一点学着剪辑视频，组织骑行者峰会。。
怎么说呢，我被深深地打动了，因为我亲眼在现实中，在身边的人上看到了热爱和坚持的力量，水滴石穿的千钧之力。这种力量可以打动任何人，包括花了200多个小时拍摄剪辑的导演。
这位朋友说，他不是为了钱或者点击量，而是如果有一个人因为看了他的视频而开始骑车，那他所有的努力就是值得的。我相信，他以后还可以走得更远，还有更奇妙的事情会发生。

Today I watched a documentary about a friend of mine. This friend started a YouTube channel about cycling in 2021, and has been updating it weekly ever since. Then, some amazing things happened:
- The channel now has over 4,000 subscribers.
- He has built a community of local cyclists, and even organizes an annual cycling summit.
- He joined the board of the largest cycling association in the United States.
- He has spoken in front of the city council about urban development and cycling safety.
- He met a fellow cyclist who is also a documentary filmmaker.

Today was the premiere of a documentary about him, capturing the details of his life: tinkering with bicycles, riding from Seattle to Vancouver with his father, who he seldom spoke with as a child, editing videos bit by bit, and organizing cycling summits…
How can I put it? I was deeply touched because I saw firsthand, in real life and through someone close to me, the power of passion and perseverance, the tremendous force of constant effort. This kind of power can move anyone, including the director who spent over 200 hours filming and editing.
My friend said he’s not doing this for money or clicks, but if his videos inspire even one person to start cycling, then all his efforts are worthwhile. I believe he can go even further, and more amazing things will happen.
